Immediate Needs:
1 John 5:14 tells us that if we ask anything according to God’s will, he hears us. As a prayer partner, we will keep you posted as we plan, start, and conduct our campaigns so you know how to pray for the beloved families our mission touches.
- Contacting families that express interest in our services while they are still in the hospital
- Coordinating funeral and counseling services
- Checking in with families in need through delivery of final service (typically 2-4 weeks)
This is the most time-intensive and time-sensitive volunteer opportunity we offer. The duration of care coordination is approximately two to four weeks, and the hours required can fluctuate based on the services being administered.
We are in need of counselors from Christ-focused churches to share the loving words of Jesus with the beloved families our mission serves. These families may have difficult questions or may be looking for an officiant at their funeral.
Future Needs:
We are currently utilizing meal delivery services to provide meals for the beloved families our mission serves. In the future, we aspire to transition toward a model where volunteers such as yourself prepare meals to provide to our families.
